Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Material Handler Teams perform the physical and / or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
They unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
They lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Material Handlers prepare and maintain records of shipments, post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
They examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Key tasks and skills of the job :
Ensure correct picking of materials from system documentation.
Deliver any material to Operational areas within the factory as per the systems documentation.
Follow Company processes within the SAP ERP system to ensure system accuracy and integrity of items picked and delivered.
Ensure timely picking of materials and good housekeeping within the warehouse.
File and process paperwork within the area in line with system requirements.
Safety glasses and safety shoes and appropriate PPE is required.
Shift schedule is 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
What your background should look like :
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must be able to bend, stretch, & reach overhead.
This position requires standing / walking for extended periods of time.
Incident reporting in line with company EH&S guidelines.
Computer skills required
Ability to pass all pre-employment physical testing
Ability to work in a team environment with the Shipping team on shift as well as assembly / production operators
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 50 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to push a maximum weight of 81 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to pull a maximum weight of 88.8 lbs safely & dependably
- Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
- Frequent standing and walking is required in this job.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $33,120 $49,680 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
