Zeus Fire & Security is Hiring a Technical Specialist Near Fairview, IL

Join our dynamic team at PASS as a Technical Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, engineering solutions, and delivering high-level technical assistance to clients, field technicians, and internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Be DoingClient Technical Support:
  • Handle Tier 2 escalations for client services, providing immediate support for critical service issues.
  • Provide remote service for both service contract and non-service contract clients.
  • Document completed work appropriately in our system.
Technician Field Support
  • Offer advanced technical remote support for security system issues, coordinating programming and system testing with field technicians.
  • Coordinate elevated dealer support beyond standard technical assistance.
  • Systems Reviews and Documentation:
  • Review work orders for technical red flags before installation.
  • Ensure proper documentation during install-to-service handoffs.
System Pre-Programming
  • Pre-program Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control systems for approved projects.
  • Collaborate with contractors on system installation, testing, and deployment.
  • Document all project information and specifications for future reference.
Client Training
  • Conduct remote training sessions via Teams/Zoom, providing scheduling flexibility.
  • Offer on-site training when necessary.
Other Duties as Assigned.Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of security systems, access control, and CCTV technologies.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills to document and communicate action items clearly.
  • Experience in collaborating with project managers and sales management on new products and software preferred.
  • Ability to provide advanced technical remote support and escalate when necessary.
