J&K Mowing is Hiring a Landscape Technician Near Fairfield, PA

J&K Mowing LLC is looking to add 2-4 more team members to the position of Landscape Technician to assist with our growing business.

About J&K Mowing LLC

J&K Mowing LLC is a fireman owned and fireman operated Landscape Company based out of Fairfield, PA. We service about a 25-mile radius from Fairfield, PA and operate approximately 3-4 days a week (Tuesday- Friday) during the months of April thru the end of October servicing residential clients, HOA communities, commercial businesses, and multiple housing complexes. We provide mulching services, pruning, and trimming of trees/hedges/bushes, leaf removal, weed and vegetation control, planting and landscape design, grading/seeding and soil aeration. We also do snow removal services during the winter months for our multi-year contracted clients.

Qualifications:

· Career or Volunteer Fireman preferred

· Must demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce high quality work and be personally accountable

· Must be dependable and report to work on time

· Mechanical background

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Experience in commercial grade landscaping equipment too include:

o String trimmer, leaf blowers, edgers, etc

o Zero turn and walk behind mowers with velkies

§ If no experience a willingness to listen, learn and a mechanical background will be a sufficient substitute

· Experience driving open trailers 18-20’ is preferred but not required

· Experience in snow removal with either a truck and plow or ATV with plow is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

· Cutting turf, trimming, and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment

· Planting and maintaining flower beds and applying mulch as needed

· Pruning and trimming bushes as needed

· Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with customers and the public

· General equipment maintenance as needed

· Other duties as needed
