This is a full-time, benefitted position. The hours are Monday-Friday 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm.

Who you are :

As the MRI Tech Aide (Medical Assistant) at our Fairfax MRI Center located in Fairfax, VA you are a valued member of our team and are someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative team-oriented environment, effectively communicate with patients and FRC staff, and demonstrate empathy and compassion to our patients.

What you will do :

• Will be responsible for screening patients for medical background and history
• Start IV access prior to procedures
• Draw blood for creatinine test when needed
• Assist medical imaging staff with clinical and administrative tasks; as well as procedures and patient care

What you will bring :

• Two or more years of prior working experience in a medical environment
• Must be able to start IV access prior to procedures and draw blood
• Current certification in Basic Life Supportawarded by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Excellent customer service and clinical skills required
