Beneficial Reuse Management is Hiring a Plant Manager Near Fair Oaks, IN

Position: Plant Manager 

Reports to: Division Director 

The Opportunity

Gypsoil Blendable, LLC is a seven-year old fertilizer company, wholly owned by Beneficial Reuse Management.

Our innovative sulfur-based product(s) help fertilizer dealers conveniently and profitably provide their customers with healthier soils, higher yields and bigger profits.

We currently operate manufacturing facilities in Racine, WI, Winona, MN and Fair Oaks, IN with plans to add more facilities over the next several years.

Gypsoil Blendable, LLC is looking for team players who can get excited about building something great. Our product is the best nutritional source for farmland, and our manufacturing capabilities need to be just as good. You will work hard, but the opportunity for growth and additional income is real. This is a hands-on job. You are expected to spend most of your time on the floor with your team—not in your office. 

We need a plant manager for our Fair Oaks, IN facility. We would like to hire immediately. The job duties include, but are not limited to: 

  1. Ensuring production quota is met 
  2. Supervision of all plant employees 
  3. Scaling operations from a single shift to multiple shifts allowing plant to run 24 hours, 5-6 days/week 
  4. Working with Division Director to develop and implement production plan 
  5. Working with Production Supervisor to develop and implement a cost-effective preventative maintenance plan 
  6. Working with Division Director/CFO to track and reduce production cost 
  7. Conducting ongoing inventory counts and ensuring that they are accurate 
  8. Implementing and maintaining local safety and quality programs 

Compensation: 

  1. Salary commensurate with experience 
  2. 15% bonus opportunity 
  3. Paid vacation, along with partially subsidized company health, dental, vision and life insurance 
  4. 401K with company match 

Requirements:

  1. Willingness to work. This isn’t entirely an office job. You’ll occasionally have to run machines, and you’re expected to spend significant time on the floor finding ways to make the operation run better. 
  2. Attention to detail, quality and cost. You set the standard at your plant.
  3. Team player with at least three years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  4. Experience with quality and safety programs 
  5. Ability to pass routine drug tests 

Preferred Skills (not required):

  1. Welding Experience
  2. Direct experience with heavy equipment and machinery
  3. Basic computer skills - ability to navigate through computer systems and software applications
  4. Strong communication and leadership skills
  5. Ability to find creative solutions related to production, quality and safety.
