Elm City Communications, a media production company, is looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented and technically proficient Post-Production Assistant. 

Elm City Communications works with the world’s largest and most recognizable healthcare companies on both in-studio and on-location productions. We produce a broad range of programs from patient and physician education to global broadcasts and webcasts and everything in between. 

The Post-Production Assistant will support the Elm City Communications staff with post-production and office management duties. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in all aspects of production with a focus on editing. 

They will be an integral member of Elm City Communications’ team of producers and editors who constantly collaborate and learn from each other to grow as professionals. This position requires quick, creative thinking, an eye for detail and someone who is open to and contributes to the production process. 

This is a full time, entry-level, in-office position with benefits. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with producers to edit video and audio content including doctor presentations, patient testimonials, webcasts, podcasts, social posts, etc. 

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud apps for editing video, audio and graphics

• Source & license appropriate stock music and images

• Participate in project meetings

• General office management tasks

• Assist with the organization and upkeep of in-office equipment and editing systems

• Archive footage

• Other tasks include assisting on shoots and general production coordination

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud 

• Experience with Apple computers

• Understanding of video production and post-production

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Open and willing to learn

• Must have a reliable means of transportation
