LHH is representing a healthcare organization in Nashville to identify an Assistant Controller to join its team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the full month-end close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and information is leveraged to inform decision making
• Manage a team of staff and senior accountants, taking on review and delegation responsibilities
• Create and refine cross-departmental forecasts and budgets, taking into account any new information and modifying projections on an as-needed basis
• Ensure the adherence to established processes and procedures across the accounting department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred
• 3 years of accounting experience, public accounting and industry blend is ideal
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel as well as ERP systems
