We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is for an elementary school setting, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners with special needs.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers to ensure inclusion and support for all students.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and needs.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for students.

Requirements :

• Active Special Education (SPED) license / certifications in Colorado.
• Ability to start with pending fingerprint clearance upon school approval.
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
