The Area
Farmington New Mexico is a "small big town" in the Four Corners Region, where Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico meet. We are surrounded by canyons and mesas, at the junction of three rivers, which all make for spectacular scenery. There is a reason why New Mexico is the Land of Enchantment. Find yourself hiking through the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness at sunset or overlooking the badlands at Angel Peak on a stormy day. Take your four-wheeler to Glade Run for some off-roading fun, walk along the Animas River at Berg Park, enjoy fly fishing on the San Juan River, or enjoy the many festivals and events the City of Farmington puts on. You might want to make the quick trip to Durango, Colorado to ski, sled, hike, camp, or enjoy more of the great outdoors this area offers. This place has a lot to offer! You will meet some amazing people and become immersed in this unique culture.
