Description:

Design, develop, and enhance mechanical products and equipment.

Provides technical support focused on quality, high reliability, and manufacturing cost.

Work with vendors to collect feasibility information.

Work directly with manufacturing to develop and execute test plans. Assisting in the testing of equipment, and analyzes collected data.

Resolves quality issues with new and existing products, including relevant customer quality forms and interaction with customers and vendors

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Firm commitment to excellence and high standards

Excellent verbal and written communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively

Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with other departments and leadership

Good judgement skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities

Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment

3-5 years prior experience with Turbo Machinery preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software, AutoCAD

Ansys FEA tools and Rotor dynamics tools experience is a plus.
