VIR Consultant is Hiring an Electrical Test Engineer Near Everett, WA
Responsibilities
- Support, maintain and improve test systems throughout the factory.
- Drive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasure of failures.
- Advise design engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O communication boards for various stations.
- Coordinate design changes for existing stations as per product requirements.
- Provide technical assistances for hardware and software debugging.
- Review test results and analyze test data from database and improve yields.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of related experience engineering experience.
- Good understanding of analog and digital based circuitry and ability to read schematics.
- Programing language knowledge in one or more of the following: LabView / Teststand, C#, Java, Python, etc.
- Root cause analysis using various Problem-Solving methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results.
- Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Experience working in a metric/goal driven environment.
- Hands-on approach / experience with manufacturing processes preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills; effectively present information and respond to feedback at any level within the organization.
