Physical Therapy Assistant PTA

The Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

Setting : Clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

• Assist physical therapists in the administration of treatments and procedures.

• Instruct patients in the use of assistive devices such as crutches, canes, and walkers.

• Observe patients during treatments and document progress.

• Maintain patient records and prepare reports.

• Assist in the development of treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
