Our client is seeking a hardworking and reliable Full-Time Inventory Specialist with strong METRC experience to join our client's company in Redding, CA. Our client is a leading cannabis cultivator dedicated to producing high-quality cannabis products. They are committed to compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in our operations. As part of their commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance, they are seeking a Full-Time METRC Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring their staff is well-trained in utilizing the METRC system and inventory management to manage their cannabis cultivation processes effectively.

Job Description:As a METRC Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in training their staff on how to use the METRC (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance) system for tracking and reporting all cannabis-related activities. Your expertise will help ensure that their operations are fully compliant with state and local cannabis regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • METRC Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for their cultivation team, including but not limited to cultivation technicians and supervisors, on how to effectively navigate and utilize the METRC system.
  • Compliance Guidance: Provide guidance and insights on maintaining compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, ensuring that their cultivation processes align with legal requirements.
  • Data Entry and Management: Instruct their staff on accurate data entry into the METRC system, including inventory tracking, plant lifecycle management, and waste disposal, while emphasizing precision and attention to detail.
  • Reporting: Train their team on generating required reports, ensuring that all necessary data is captured and reported accurately to regulatory agencies.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and troubleshoot any METRC-related issues or challenges that their team may encounter during the training process.
  • Documentation: Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to METRC usage, ensuring that their staff has access to clear and concise guidelines for METRC compliance.
  • Follow-Up Support: Provide post-training support and guidance to their staff as they begin implementing METRC practices into their daily routines, offering assistance as needed.
  • Inventory: You'll manage and oversee our inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations. You'll play a key part in tracking and maintaining our product from cultivation to distribution, using state-of-the-art technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in utilizing the METRC system for cannabis tracking and compliance, with a strong understanding of the cannabis industry's regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills to effectively convey METRC concepts and best practices to diverse team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant state and local cannabis regulations.
  • Previous experience in training or consulting within the cannabis industry is a plus.
Compensation: $47,000-$52,000 on a base to start with potential growth
