Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our busy practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. We offer a pleasant working environment and competitive compensation.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist with dental x-rays and medical imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records through proper medical documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with medical coding practices
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Experience with dental software
- Understanding of medical imaging procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
