Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher's Aide to join our team and support our educational programs. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a positive learning environment for students while providing essential classroom support.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the lead teacher
· Provide support to the lead teacher
· Help insure a positive learning environment for the student
· Assist with classroom management, up to and including behavioral concerns
· Re-direct students as needed
· Assist students with lessons as directed by the teacher
· Assist with daily classroom routines, including class transitions
· Monitor lunchroom for assigned class
· Maintain a respectful environment
· Other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
· Previous experience working with students in an educational environment preferred
· Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, students, parents, and other staff
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to follow directions
· Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children and teens
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· State Police Criminal Record check and Child Abuse History Clearance required
