Position SummaryThe Sr Accountant will assist the Controller/CFO in meeting all financial requirements of the medical center’s accounting responsibilities; Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements/package reported to UHS Corporate; Maintain accurate general ledger account balances through reconciliation and detailed analysis; Assist Controller/CFO with annual Operating and Capital budget. Assist other staff in all finance activities as necessary.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute Physician Stats to Hospital leadership.
- Supplies Analysis (compare to volume for reasonableness), monitor, track and communicate with Directors/Managers on variances.
- Inventory tracking, reconciliation, and Audit.
- Support management through timely communication and response to financial questions.
- Conduct timely processing of all physician check requests.

Requirements Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in accounting.
- Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Excel.
