This Role:

Our collaborative leadership team is currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor – 3rd Shift.This would be a full-time, in-person role located at our Englewood, OH distribution facility reporting to the Distribution Center Manager. (shift = 10:15p – 6:45a Sun-Thurs)

What You Will Do:

The Shipping & Receiving Supervisorassists the organization in meeting customer commitments by ensuring all work done within the distribution center is performed in a safe manner while meeting scheduled timeframes, operating budget guidelines, and quality standards.

How You Will Do It:

• In partnership with the Warehouse Manager, performs personnel management of staff within the 3rd shift operation. Activities include: hiring, KPI setting, performance monitoring, coaching/feedback sessions, and/or disciplinary actions.
• Maintains a safe work environment on their shift by ensuring compliance with EH&S regulatory requirements following appropriate health & safety procedures (OSHA, PPE, WHMIS)
• Helps perform workforce planning for the warehouse by ensuring appropriate processes for time card use and time off requests, use of overtime and temporary labor
• Serves as a positive leading influence for the 3rd shift operation, motivating the team to not only meet performance standards but be engaged in continuous improvement efforts
• Ensures all product is received in as required and put away in correct locations as defined with Oracle or WMS. Ensures all outbound shipments including LTL, UPS and Will Call are correct and damage free.
• Submits paperwork as requested/needed, including: daily shift reports, bills of lading, and routing manifests.

What We’re Looking For:

For this mid career role, we are seeking candidates who:

• Will not now or in the future require visa sponsorship (required)
• Hold a high-school level education (required) or higher (preferred)
• Are willing to submit to drug screen and background check (required)
• Can move safely across facility, including confined spaces and occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting (required)
• Have previous people leadership experience within a warehouse or distribution environment (required)
• Have previous experience with Oracle (preferred)
