Key Responsibilities:

• Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software. Designs and documents network architecture.
• Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
• Establishes security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
• Tests and tunes security devices and systems. Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice).
• Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.
• Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required. 10 years of experience.

Required Skills:

• Wireless Engineer to support 2024 Roadmap supporting: Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 7 Cellular Backup Unit, Wi-Fi 7 Extender, and Thread
• Develop and execute test plans for Wi-Fi 6E, MDU, and Wi-Fi 7 router certification, focusing on end-to-end performance and functionality testing.
• Utilize hands-on lab usage and maintenance.
• Drive test cases through automation.
• Create strategic test plans to ensure performance and stability of Wireless products/features in network.
• Work with technologies including Wi-Fi Routers, Gateways, Access Points, Service Provider Wi-Fi, etc.
• Have experience developing automation scripts utilizing TCL, Python programming languages.
• Have experience writing and developing detailed test cases and test plans.
• Possess extensive hands-on networking experience with 802.11 AP’s, Cable Gateways, Routers, Switches, etc.
• Lab testing of hardware (CPE preferred)
• In depth knowledge of the 802.11 protocol (able to speak on differences and features)
• Experience creating test cases that investigate and validate HW compliance with 802.11 protocols and features
