PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeping Manager on a Direct Hire basis for our sister company CPA firm in Englewood, CO.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeping Manager to join a CPA firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong bookkeeping background, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage and inspire a team of bookkeepers. This position requires a polished professional with excellent client-facing skills, a deep understanding of bookkeeping practices, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage, AP/AR, Bill.com, and payroll. This person will play a crucial role in expanding our practice and ensuring the smooth operation of our bookkeeping team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 4-5 bookkeepers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee and perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
• Manage and utilize bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks Online, Sage, and Bill.com to maintain accurate financial records.
• Effectively delegate tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all bookkeeping activities.

Required Skills

• 5 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper with a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
• Prior supervisory experience or a strong desire and ability to lead a team.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage, and Bill.com.
• Familiarity with AP/AR and payroll processing.
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Preferred to speak Filipino but not a requirement of the position.

Salary range: $50,000 - $80,000 DOE
