We are actively seeking a Production Planner to add to our team!
Requirements
- Determines lead times for manufacturing customer orders
- Reviews production schedule and MRP reports and initiates purchased material requisitions and shop floor jobs
- Obtains or requests documents such as op sheets, blueprints, pick lists, and routings and combines documents to create a job packet
- Revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment
- Distributes job packets to specified departments
- Expedites production of parts and purchases
- Maintains order policy and lot sizing information in accordance with established policy
- Reviews and reacts to Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s)
- Processes and schedules subcontract vendors
- Creates rework jobs in conjunction with manufacturing engineering
Qualifications:
- Three to five years experience planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Great attention to detail
- Experience using an ERP system, Infor Visual is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
