Southeast Performance Recovery is Hiring a Stretch Practitioner Near Emerson, GA

Overview:
Stretch Practitioner wanted. The ideal candidate would have experience playing or working with collegiate/professional athletic programs and a desire to pursue a career in sports medicine. We are owned and operated by former Division 1 and Professional athletes, and are seeking someone who is familiar with and enjoys working around sports, particularly baseball.

At SEPR, we provide pre- and post-game injury prevention/recovery services to athletes at tournament events, while also educating players, coaches, and parents on how overuse injuries can be avoided with proper preparation and recovery. If you are interested in preventing injuries in youth athletics and possess knowledge in assisted stretching, massage, orthopedics, kinematics, or nutrition, and enjoy being in and around sports, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assisted stretching and guided exercises to prepare an athlete for an event or assist in post-event recovery.
- Educate players and their families on how they can prevent injuries
- Screen players for preexisting injuries, identify contraindications, and recognize when to advise someone to see an orthopedic specialist
- Stay current with advancements in sports medicine research

Qualifications:
- Certified as a Stretching & Flexibility Coach (Preferred)
- Experience in a collegiate/professional athletic program (Preferred)
- Basic understanding of assisted stretching, sports massage, corrective exercises, and/or nutrition
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $70.00 - $840.00 per day

Expected hours: 6 – 84 per week

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Collegiate/Professional Athletics: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Stretching And Flexibility Coaching Certificate (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Emerson, GA 30121 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Emerson, GA 30121: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
