JobResponsibilities :

• Performsmoderately complex assembly / test functions utilizing mechanicalskills hand and power tools mechanical / electronic tools testequipment assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment ina manufacturing environment.
• Records testresults on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipmentand flow measurement devices.
• May use XYrecorders oscilloscopes transducers and other relatedequipment.
• Identifies malfunctions disclosedby test data and reworks as instructed.
• Interprets blueprints engineering orders assembly routestest specifications service bulletins customer requirements andquality directives
• Produces and inspectsassemblies that conform to product specifications. Assembles testsand / or solders to customer and / or industry standards.
• Performs touchup or full surface painting of parts withfinishing materials such as paint lacquer glaze etc. Mixes paintand cleans parts.
• Actively participates inlean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areasfor improvement.
• May assist in training lessexperienced team members.
• Observes all safetyrules and maintains a foreign object damage (FOD) free workarea.
• Ensures all equipment is calibrated inaccordance with calibration schedule.
• Mayperform other related responsibilities.

Required Skills andExperience :

• Mechanicallyinclined (2 years) examples include :
• Small precision technical work
• General labor if it involves math tasks such as measuringproducts (painters fence builders installation landscape projectsetc.)
• Interpret blueprints & workinstructions (can they read Ikea instructions how do you know that*proof of reading blue prints must be evident on resumes to beconsidered)
• Ability to use test standequipment and hand tools (more competitive resumes will list namesof hand toolsinterviewees should be prepared to speak well aboutthis)
• Ability to problem solve (can theycritically think when posed with a problem and asked how to solveit)
• Effective communication skills (pastexperience in cell setups such as fast food industry will mirrorthe type of communication and close proximity that will be requiredin this role)
• Selfmotivated dependable goaloriented & adaptable team player (if the person is notcomfortable with change taking direction from peers andrespectfully giving directions to reach a goalthis is not the rightjob for them)
• Comfortable working in a teamenvironment (this plant specifically has very long tenure of 10years on average. These people do not come and go.

• Ensure high quality standards ofthe product (a manual dexterity test will be required during theinterview).
