We are in search of an artisan baker who has an elevated taste. We are looking for a baker who can create pastries that are both visually appealing as they are delicious. The ideal candidate is self-motivated & a team player. Candidates with experience making French croissants and sourdough bread will be prioritized.

```Duties```

- Prepare and cook a variety of pastries and assist with sourdough breads, and french croissants.
- Follow or create recipes and ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen.
- Assist with menu planning and development of new recipes.

```Qualifications```

- Looking primarily for pastry experience. Bonus if you have experience working with sourdough bread and french croissants.
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
