Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Understand & comprehend construction drawings and specifications
- Prepare and maintain all project documentation: safety plans, schedules, submittals, RFI's, change orders and etc.
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience as a construction project manager at least 2-5 years
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- College education in construction project management preferred
- Field experience / Field supervision highly preferred
