**Job Description:**
We are looking for a dedicated Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical generators up to 100kVA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance on power generators up to 100kVA.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in generators.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Test and commission new generators to ensure they meet operational standards.
- Document all maintenance and repair work in detail.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide customer support and answer any technical questions regarding generator maintenance.
- Be available for 24-hour customer service to address urgent maintenance and repair needs.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical technology is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of power generators or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and generator components.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must have a personal car for mobilization to various job sites.
- Must have own tools to attend to maintenance and repair tasks.
**Compensation:**
- Payment is between $150-$200 per visit and maintenance service.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
