- Class-A CDL preferred but not required
- Minimum three years of heavy-duty truck/trailer mechanic experience.
- Experience with Peterbilt (Cummins and Paccar) and Freightliner (Detroit) systems.
- Knowledge of belly dump and pneumatic trailer systems
- Welding is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in all types of suspension repair (bearings, disc and air brake systems, springs, rockers, alignments, etc.)
- Knowledge of Electrical systems (ABS, lighting, wiring, etc.)
- Must have a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a safety-first attitude.
- Basic knowledge of TMT (Transman) software
- Must provide tools. Some specialty tools will be company supplied on a service truck.
- Maintain a clean work environment that complies with all company, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
- Be able to perform all types of PM and inspections, service work, tires, and road calls.
