The Lotus W.E.L.L. Counseling Services & Wellness Retreat is a therapeutic organization with a primary focus on making mental health treatment and alternative treatment options accessible to the community. We strive to accomplish this goal by empowering our clients and members, neighbors and helping professionals through resources, education, evaluation, and interactive experiences.

We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our team at The Lotus W.E.L.L and Journey to Lotus Professional Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients with mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in counseling and psychotherapy.

Location: Hybrid (In person preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients through detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to determine the appropriate testing or examination.
• Diagnose patients’ mental and emotional disorders.
• Create effective treatment plans that include counseling, medication (if applicable), or other services.
• Work with the patient to develop realistic and attainable goals.
• Regularly discuss the treatment plan with your patient to identify faults or room for improvement.
• Educate appropriate coping mechanisms to help patients through tough situations.
• Record the patient’s progress and update their treatment plan as needed or at minimum every 90 days.
• Complete all documentation required to keep consistent patient records in the timeframe as outlined in the organization’s Culture Guide.
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision as required by the organization.
• Provide therapeutic sessions via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform (such as Therapy Notes, Doxy, Zoom for Healthcare, VSee, Updox, and Spruce Healthcare - these are examples of HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms).

Requirements:

• Master's degree in counseling psychology or social work.
• Minimum of 1 yr of experience providing therapeutic services to clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and other relevant software programs
• Efficient writing skills.
• Current state licensure as a therapist
• LPC required (others preferred i.e. LSW, LMFT, etc)

Salary:

• Stipend or Commission Payment Structure; Caseload discretionary
