Responsibilities Of The Assistant Corporate Controller
- The Assistant Controller will prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activity.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close process.
- The Assistant Controller will assistant with budgeting and forecasting.
- Direct determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Arrange for audits of company’s accounts.
- 4-6 year's previous accounting experience
- Previous public accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree is a must; CPA or MBA preferred
- Previous experience utilizing an ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills including macros
