Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Baptist Health System in Elizabethtown, KY. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing quality patient care, administering medications, conducting patient assessments, monitoring patient conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals, providing patient education, maintaining medical records, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent observation and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and guidelines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- BLS and ACLS certification (can be obtained onsite)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is beneficial, but not required
