Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Location: Baldwin and Mobile Counties, Alabama

Schedule: Four Ten-Hour Shifts

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee work in Baldwin and Mobile counties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience as an electrician, with proven expertise in supervising teams of journeymen electricians and helpers. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 10-12 journeymen electricians and helpers.
• Oversee the installation of conduit and wire, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Plan and schedule work assignments, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely completion of projects.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the installation process.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of experience as an electrician, with extensive knowledge of conduit and wire installation.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, overseeing teams of electricians and helpers.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid electrician's license and any other relevant certifications.
• Ability to work four ten-hour shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Baldwin and Mobile counties.
• Certification in electrical safety or project management.
