Job Description Fabletics is currently looking for a Product Developer How Do You Fit In? As the Product Developer you will serve a critical role in coordinating style development from concept through production hand off. This role will be responsible for daily communication between internal departments as well as international partners. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with all departments. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Product Development. What you will do: Maintain and develop production charts, reports and factory calendars. Send tech packs to factories for accurate pricing in a timely manner. Identify and address key issues and challenges in construction and manufacturing. Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Production and external vendors, to effectively execute product. Track samples to ensure critical dates are met. Communicate daily with vendors and cross-functional team members. Update BOMs with designers as necessary (material / hardware changes) and forward to factory in a timely manner. Develop and test new trims seasonally Maintain seasonal fabric/trim libraries and binders. Set target FOBs / prepare costing chart. Attend all fittings and proto reviews with the Designers and facilitate resolving all issues, while ensuring appropriate documentation is obtained. Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with design, and merchandising in regard to changes / discrepancies / PP approvals etc. Communicate and understand any potential production issues with vendors and internally. What you can bring: 4 years of technical experience is preferred. Some knowledge of PLM, Web PDM is a plus. Experienced in Excel, tech packs and technical communication in relationship to apparel development. Can manage quick timelines efficiently and independently. Flexible, organized and adaptable to the changing needs of the business. Strong communication skills. Works well under a high-pressure environment. Extremely detail oriented.
