Gymnastics Instructor
Duties:
- Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach proper techniques and skills in a safe and supportive environment
- Create lesson plans that are engaging, challenging, and age-appropriate
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their gymnastics abilities
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing gym rules and proper equipment usage
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with other instructors to coordinate class schedules and activities
Skills:
- Strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive and disciplined class environment
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or physical education setting
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, terminology, and safety guidelines
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate skills to students of different ages and abilities
- Experience working with students in other disciplines such as swimming, judo, martial arts, cheerleading, or climbing is a plus
- Passion for educating and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in gymnastics
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options.
