Description
The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for assisting in the inspecting, maintaining, and repairing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results for both Arizona Oasis Resort and Desert Garden Quartzsite RV Park. They will follow safety standards, conform to specifications, and ensure that work orders and tasks are tracked and completed within the budgeted guidelines. They may oversee/work alongside contractors engaged for facility renovation projects and will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure. This individual must be high energy, motivated and will take ownership and has the organization skills to oversee multiple tasks at once, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees and residents/guest of the resort. This service will be friendly, consistent and efficient while supporting the company mission statement of quality, affordability, profitability and respect.
Requirements
Perform technical work at Arizona Oasis and Desert Garden to include facilities of buildings, HVAC repairs, plumbing fixes, electrical work, appliance repairs, carpentry, painting, pools & amenities, etc.
Oversee landscaping and grounds maintenance to ensure a near and well-maintained appearance of properties
Assist the maintenance manager in scheduling and assigning task to the maintenance team in addition to training new employees and ongoing training/mentoring
Prioritize tasks and delegate tasks to staff with proper skills
Troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions, and coordinate repairs with external contractors when necessary
Assist with emergency calls and emergency information distribution to residents
Respond to maintenance emails and act on accordingly if need be
Manage work assignments received accurately, and communicate pertinent information via maintenance and standards notification form and or email/phone
Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
Work alongside WWTP operators to be knowledgeable in the operation of the plan
Work alongside the manager to conduct and document regular facility inspections to include grounds, and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs promptly
Work with outside contractors on facilities and equipment repair
Assess critical repairs and facilitate an immediate and cost-effective response
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
Oversee environmental health and safety compliance
Perform any other job duties as assigned
