The responsibilities of the Assistant Golf Professional will involve supporting the Head Golf Professional and Golf Operations Manager in all aspects of golf operations and management.
Responsibilities:

• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
• Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
• Assist in planning and executing golf events, tournaments, and lessons.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests by engaging with them on the course and in the pro shop.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and sales in the pro shop.
• Help manage the golf course operations; including monitoring pace of play, course setup, and overall golf course functions.
• Assist with enforcement of golf course policies and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, rules of golf, and best practices in golf instruction.
• Assist in managing golf tournaments and league operations.
• Operate golf carts and maintain fleet cleanliness and readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional or Golf Operations Manager.
• Weekly attendance at VIVÂMEE Values meetings is required

Responsibilities:

• PGM entry level or eligibility preferred.
• Strong Guest and Member service skills and a passion for golf.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience working in a golf course or pro shop is a plus.
• Experience with Spreadsheets, Word documents, Emails, Tee sheets and POS systems
