Field Service Engineer
Reports to: Service Manager

Summary/Objective
The Service Engineer position is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain sawing machinery while on site at customers locations throughout all of North America. When not traveling service engineer needs to report in person to Tsune America.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and dirty.
Physical Demands
The Service Engineer position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. The service engineer must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The Service Engineer is a full-time position and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:15 pm depending on travel and customer’s working hours.
Travel
Estimated travel for the Service Engineer position is 75%. Expect to be on the road Monday-Thursday at the least and return home for the weekend.
Required Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or and equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
2. Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
