Duties:
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our practice, assisting with a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

• Maintaining knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations
• Providing excellent customer service by communicating and educating owners
• Assisting veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures with proper restraint
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient medical records
• Performing routine laboratory procedures
• Administering and monitoring anesthesia under veterinarian guidance
• Administering treatments and injections as directed
• Initiating emergency procedures
• Taking and processing radiographs
• Monitoring vital signs of animals
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience preferred or enrollment in a CVT program
• A hardworking attitude with a willingness to collaborate and grow with the team
• Exceptional responsibility, attention to detail, and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, bend and kneel repeatedly, and work standing
• Comfortability with strong odors and loud noises

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
