The Registered Vascular Tech is responsible for performing vascular studies on patients that support treatment and diagnosis of vascular disease. To perform and report on Non-Invasive Vascular studies using a variety of specialized equipment. Must demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Education, Credentials, LicensesGraduate of an accredited (or accreditation eligible) cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience in accordance with IAC guidelines.
Registered in non-invasive imaging with active status registry from ARDMS or CCI. New graduates will have 1 year after graduating to obtain registry.
Specialized KnowledgeExcellent understanding of Vascular Hemodynamics. Skilled us of vascular testing equipment. Experience with Color Flow Vascular Imaging. Ability to give preliminary interpretations.
