• Position Summary :
• Generally, expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will consist of vehicle operations transporting reinforcing bar and other products along the east coast;

however, a majority in the PA, NJ, NY area.Responsibilities : Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.

Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation "user maintenance" and provide required reports as required by company and DOT.

i.e. driver logs, trip reports, etc.)Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.Maintain all certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs.

Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.Ability to follow directions to ensure on-time deliveries.

Required to strap and tie-down loads.Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Essential skills and experience : Excellent driving skills and ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.

Ability to make long runs (up to 14 hours in a day) as required by shipping needs.Must be able to drive Stick Shift!CDL B required.

Early morning starts required.Must Pass DOT physical and drug screen as required by law.1 or more year(s) experience as truck driver preferred but not required.
