Position Summary: Responsible to keep the warehouse clean within Phillips Feed guidelines and standardsHours: Monday Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm Pay: $17.00/hour - plus an additional $1.00/hour for attendance Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Vacuum spills, general sweeping daily throughout the day, occasional wet mopping, empty trash and bins throughout the warehouseAssist in maintaining a green environment, disposing of sorted refuse materials: eg., plastic, cardboard, shrink wrap and paper in appropriate trash receptaclesSort and segregate wooden palletsPerform deep slot cleaning – pulling out pallets, vacuuming and sweeping as neededAssist other departments as neededParticipates in a safety culture that includes no recordable accidents and no loss time injuries. Always make the safe choice. Ensures proper PPE is used at all times. Watches out for co-workers and warn them when there are any safety issues or hazards.
