Vacumetrics Corp. is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near East Taunton, MA
Position Overview:We have a position available, for an electrical-mechanical technician, to work in field service and at the company facility. Full time position. Our field service are is all of New England plus some NY, NJ, and PA. No emergency calls and no weekend work required.
- Monday-Friday (7:30-4:00 Typical Day) *70% Travel *Occasional Overnights (3-4 /month weeknights, potentially 48 hours notice) When not scheduled in the field, this job requires employee to be present at our facility.
- Field Service – Troubleshooting, Technical Support, and Leak Detector Repair.
- Facility Services – Leak Detector Repairs, Pump Rebuilds, Various Shop Maintenance.
- Preventative Maintenance - machine overhauls.
- Service Reports - for work performed.
- Quality Customer Support
- Associates degree in mechanical, electrical-mechanical field, or high vacuum technology or 2-4 years experience in related fields.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Patience, positive attitude, motivation, willingness to learn, independent worker.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Range $46,000-52,000
- Paid personal leave (after 30 days of employment); 15 days (vacation and sick combined, accrual based), and 8 paid holidays.
- Travel expense reimbursement, company vehicle (left at Vacumetrics), and cell phone provided.
- Extensive training, positive work environment, small and personable company.
- 401K Eligible after 12 months of service.
- Health insurance available if needed, 50% paid by employer. Current plan Harvard Pilgrim.
