Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is Hiring an Outpatient Medical Coder Near East Syracuse, NY
Location: Can work remotely after training completed
- A qualified candidate should possess 2 years of outpatient coding experience and/or a coding certificate through the AAPC or AHIMA to be considered for this position.
- CPC or CCS/CCS-P preferred.
- Qualified candidates will possess a broad knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, ICD-10, CPT, and 2021 E/M coding.
- Must be efficient, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Job responsibilities include researching and resolving documentation errors, applying accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for billing, and other duties as needed. The position is full time remote after required in office training is completed.
