Full-time Truck Shop Assistant / Porter needed to aid in miscellaneous job duties within the shop and parts department. Typically, day shift work schedule.

Essential Responsibilities

• Display safe working practices at all times
• Report any safety concerns immediately
• Display sound verbal and written communication skills
• Strong social skills
• Promote good morale and teamwork within the maintenance facility.
• Complete / Overall cleanliness of shop
• Assist parts personnel with inventory / receiving / stocking.
• Testing and tracking of product delivery hoses
• Learning companies ELOG system to carry out repair
• Parts pickup / Shuttle drivers.
• Snow plowing
• Assist in any product spill’s-either on site or at a customer
• Able to stand for long hours
• Able to move / carry / lift up to 50lbs
• Conduct daily yard walks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Basic maintenance knowledge / mechanically inclined.
• Effective Verbal, written and organizational skills; Team work
• Possess a valid driver’s license / clean driving history
• Focused
