A Freeman's Place Counseling, LLC is Hiring an Office Manager Near East Brunswick, NJ

***PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY*** A Freeman's Place Couseling, LLC is a growing licensed mental health clinic in East Brunswick. Currently, we are looking for a warm, inviting, and energetic person that can interact and be the first point of contact for our clients who are coming to seek mental health counseling services. We are looking for an Office Manager to organize and coordinate office administration and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Experience with the following is required:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
  • Creating spreadsheets for administrative purposes
  • Knowledge of Internet, technology troubleshooting
  • Contacting insurance companies regarding client benefit information
  • Filing medical claims
  • Medical billing knowledge a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Communication or Business or other related field preferred, however not required.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday
  • Prior experience in a mental health setting
  • Prior reception or administrative experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Great customer experience/skills
  • Experience with managing the heavy traffic of a front office

Position: This is a part-time employee position. 20 hours/week. This position will go to full-time (40 hours/week) after the 90-day probationary period.

Note: AFPC will not ask for any banking or financial information through any messaging or social media platforms, or in the interview stages or before a new hire has been officially hired and onboarded. Although interviews may be scheduled over email or through messaging services, AFPC does not conduct interviews or hire through texts, messaging apps, or social media platforms. Additionally, AFPC will not ask an employee or new hire to render any payment for AFPC-issued laptops or any other equipment a new hire would need for working remotely or at home.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
