JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience with electrical design OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 8 years’ of experience with electrical design
• Experienced in designing PCB’s
• Proficient in circuit design, analysis, and testing
• Specialization in power electronics
• Be a leader in a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Contribute to a collaborative and knowledgeable atmosphere where teamwork is fostered
• Contribute to the development of new products through consulting with customers and sales personnel.
• Consult on new product and market development efforts.
• Prepare successful proposal designs and concepts, along with cost and schedule estimates.
• Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses
• Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
• Help with interviewing and mentoring junior engineers.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Power Electronics and motion controls
• Motor Drives- selecting the components in the power system. Keeping in mind the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Design experience with PCB boards from scratch.
• Selecting the component size and understanding the layout from scratch
• PCB Tools – Spice & Altium
• Board Design - Cadence
• Analysis Tools – LTspice, Pspice
• Lab experience with integration and development
• Ability to create work instructions and understand the full process
