Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop warehouse operations policies and procedures and communicate information to warehouse staff.
• Maintain standards of health, safety, and security in the warehouse. Including communicating and enforcing company safety policies and safe work habits.
• Serve as liaison to customers and transport companies.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the picking and receiving of materials.
• Responsible for the efficient utilization of space and organization of the warehouse.
• Responsible for inventory control procedures and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Responsible for the recruitment and training of warehouse personnel as well as monitoring staff performance and conducting disciplinary and performance appraisal documentation.
• Responsible for communicating with Branch Manager and other company leaders on the status of the warehouseoperations at the branch.
• Responsible for the quality, accuracy, and customer service provided to customers through the warehouse operations.
• Minimum Education, Training & Experience Required :

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent is required. Related experience and / or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Delivery experience is desired. An understanding of HVAC parts and equipment is desired. A valid state driver’s license is required.

Must have basic computer and data entry skills. Must meet company driving requirements including possessing the appropriate class of license or CDL based on vehicles used at the branch.
