Contract Days: 260: year-round position, to begin as soon as possible
Salary Range: Supervisor Salary Schedule: no less than $81,712 to $96,580 depending upon previous, full time experience in similar position.

Description:
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily operations of the transportation department to assure safe and efficient pupil transportation. General responsibilities include vehicle maintenance and acquisition, routing, scheduling and fiscal responsibilities in support of the district's instructional and activity programs for students. This position requires strong and proven abilities in organizations, leadership and human relationships. This position will lead a department staff of aproximately 28, including drivers, office staff and 2 full-time mechanics serving District schools in Eagle Point, White City and Shady Cove. Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Supervisor Certificate issued by the Oregon Department of Education.
General Expectations:
Provides leadership for the department on day-to-day operations. Strong customer service orientation. Experience in and knowledge of pupil transportation safety standards and school bus operations including maintenance programs. Supervisory experience and demonstrated skills in staff relations and human resource processes. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, staff and administrators.************************************************************************************************************
