Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Update and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming to patients
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or similar systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
