Job Description
Equipment Management :
- Operates, inspects, maintains, and / or troubleshoot equipment and components
- Repair or replace defective equipment / components
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently
- Installs new equipment / components
Document Utilization :
Utilize and adhere to applicable diagrams, drawings, blueprints, and manufacturers manuals
Performance Improvement :
Reviews design modifications and recommend performance improvements
Liaison :
Serves as a liaison between Facility Operations, departments, manufacturers, and vendors
Reporting :
- Maintains record of repairs and / or maintenance
- Performs and records equipment efficiency evaluations
Communication :
Accurately and effectively communicate to Staff, patients, visitors, vendors, consultants, and contractors
Customer Service :
Effectively and efficiently respond to customer complaints / requests / needs
Budget :
Complies with departmental budget
Educations :
- Stay abreast of changings in technology that affects equipment
- Educate and train junior staff members as needed
Regulation :
- Adheres to NMHS / NMMC Policies / Procedures / Guidelines
- Complies with appropriate Local / State / Federal policies / procedures / guideline / regulations / laws / statues
Job Knowledge :
- High school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 3 years experience required; associates degree or advanced training with equivalent experience preferred
- Valid State Drivers License with approved driving history; required
- Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills; required
- Good organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required
- Working knowledge of equipment operations, maintenance, installation (as described in Essential Functions); required
- Excellent interpersonal skills; required
