Job Details
Senior Linux System Administrator HYBRID - NC, USA
- Strong experience with Linux administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux: RHEL
- Strong Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting Linux systems and applications
- Experience with Linux OS Patch (including taking snapshots of instances before applying updates), upgrade
- Strong experience with Image Management using Redhat Image
- Proficient with network tools such as Firewall, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, nginx, MYsql etc
- Strong experience with Cookie Security, Web Browser Security, Server side encryptions, Data Encryption at Rest and Key management
- Hands-on experience in performance monitoring enablement to manage the Scaling up and down of the environments
- Strong scripting skills, specifically in Bash or Python
- Experience in user account management for large organization
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, SSM and EBS.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and routing
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Cloudformation, Puppet, or Chef
- Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage
