About the Job:

• RN Team Lead promotes a work environment conducive to harmonious work relationships and high staff morale.
• Holds regular nursing staff meetings to promote communication and information sharing.
• Acts as a nurse role model in all activities within the nursing unit.
• Understands, promotes and helps to update practice manuals relating to nursing and clinical services.
• Ensures that all registered nurses know and understand the procedures for documenting health records.
• Ensures that the appropriate health assessments are conducted in accordance with the professional and company standards.
• Manages interview and screening processes of applicants.
• Manages the orientation and induction of new staff.
• Ensures necessary documentation is completed in conjunction with the Manager.
• Identifies work related goals for new nursing staff and develop strategies for achievement. 

Requirements:

• Registered nurse BSN, RN with a current license in state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Current (validated within the last 12 months) CPR and / or Advanced Life Support certification.
• Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
• BLS certification required
• 1-3 years’ experience
